Pastor James Zinger

As Pastor of Preaching and Worship, Jim Zinger is in a primary leadership position for all the ministries at Heritage, but most particularly for worship and administration. He grew up in northern Michigan and is a graduate of Reformed Bible College (now Kuyper College), Trinity College (Deerfield, Illinois), Western Seminary (Holland, Michigan), and did graduate study in the D. Min. program at Reformed Theological Seminary near Orlando, Florida. He and his wife Marilyn have four children and seven grandchildren (with twins on the way). Before coming to Heritage he served churches in Holland, Kalamazoo, Zeeland, and Grand Rapids, Michigan. His hobbies are hunting, fishing, spending time at his retreat in the Michigan northwoods, and attending school and sports functions in which his grandchildren are involved.
