These programs are for many ages, and some run in combination so that parents and children can attend together.  Members of Heritage, and members of our community, are welcome to participate. Read through these descriptions and see if anything appeals to you!
 
Youth Ministries

Kid’s Hope Go to the Kid’s Hope USA Website
A one-to-one-mentoring and tutoring program in which volunteers from our church spend an hour each week with a young child at Marshall Elementary School.  As relationship are built, it is our prayer that God will use our volunteers to make a difference in the lives of at-risk kids.

Kid’s Life Bible Club Mondays, Sept. 25. 2006 - Mar. 26, 2007
This group meets Mondays after school at Marshall Elementary, from about 3:30 to 4:30 pm. We use stories, songs, and puppets to share Jesus with K-5th graders.

Coffee Break See the calendar page for meeting days.
Ladies that meet on Tuesday morning for coffee and Bible study at church. There is also a childrens program for the young children while their moms are in the Bible study.

Friendship Meets Wednesday nights
A ministry for special needs students in a one-to-one mentorship with a mentor.

Byron Community Ministries  
A local ministry for low income families and a food pantry. Check their website for more info.
 
Byron Manor  
We do worship services four times a year for the residents there.
This is usually organized by the Worship Committee.

Spring Break Mission Trip During the K-12 spring break
An annual trip to an area in the Appalachia Mountains—building or repairing homes while establishing relationships with the home owners.—for more information, talk to anybody that has gone!
 
Mission Support Missionaries we support
The Mission Support Team keeps us in contact with our missionaries by informing us of their work and prayer needs.  This team plans special mission services so that we can focus on missions.  Pledges of financial support for our mission workers are received on these Sundays.
